In 2014, approximately 46 percent of Asian immigrants (ages 5 and over) reported limited English proficiency, compared to 50 percent of all immigrants. Those from Eastern Asia were the most likely to be Limited English Proficient (LEP), at 57 percent, followed by South Eastern Asia (47 percent), Western Asia (41 percent), and South Central Asia (34 percent).
